The Keystone XL pipeline is coming. Two man camps will threaten the safety of the women, girls, and children on the Cheyenne River Reservation. At the behest of a coalition of women, the Cheyenne River Tribal Council has declared a state of emergency. Please show your support with a message of solidarity. [Click link above. There's multiple studies that show opening resource extraction camps increases violence against feminine folk within ~50 miles by something like 400%

Imagine if like, a starbucks opening near you p much guaranteed someone in your immediate family would die, and then having to like, try and convince people not to keep opening starbucks.

And now make these starbucks shit out pollution all day, slowly killing everyone who isn't immediately killed.

zany world eh!

@emsenn how will a message of solidarity help? We really need to be blowing up these camps

@dualhammers I personally don't think it will do very much, but it's what has been requested by the people who live on the territory on which these camps were built. If you seek more immediate action, I'd suggest seeking it your own communities, not doing it for another.

@emsenn I have no community, but otherwise I agree with the sentiment
