legit contemplating an 'art of war' but it just talks about daily life under capitalism through the metaphor of pre-artillery combat
@emsenn sounds good to me
@Sapphicgiraffic do you think it'd be useful?
I think it's useful maintaining that like militant perspective in what people do and say to me when I leave the house, but also I like... grew up around military folk and with my previous career was around a lot of militaristic action so might be too biased.
@emsenn i mean... i'm in a similar place. i come from a navy family, i did jrotc in high school, and i worked for the navy as a civilian researcher after grad school around a bunch of former sailors and marines so,,, it just makes sense to me.
if capitalism is class warfare then the first step to moving past it is being honest and open about what we're experiencing instead of pretending that any of this (*gestures broadly at surroundings*) is healthy or reasonable.
@Sapphicgiraffic Also I think anyone who thinks *waves at surroundings* isn't what modern war looks like spends too much time playing video games and not enough reading about how the US treats our stated enemies.
